Olink proteomics, from 5 to 5,400 proteins

We run the full Olink range from our lab in Hayward: Explore HT for broad discovery, Reveal for cohort work at 1,034 proteins, and Target 96, Target 48 and Flex when you already know which proteins you want. Pick a panel below, or send us the study outline and we'll suggest one.

Broadest coverage
Olink Explore HT
5,400+ proteins · 2 µL sample

Olink's largest panel. Explore HT measures more than 5,400 proteins in one run from 2 µL of plasma or serum, with the same PEA chemistry and dual-antibody specificity as the smaller panels. This is the panel for a first pass through a cohort when you don't yet know where the signal will be.

More than 5,400 proteins, the widest coverage of any Olink panel
Dual-antibody PEA detection; Olink reports 99.5% specificity
Suited to hypothesis-free discovery in large cohorts
Enough coverage for pathway and network analysis on the same data
Delivered as NPX data with a QC report, within 4 weeks of sample receipt

Olink Reveal
1,034 proteins · 4 µL sample · partial plates

The panel we run most often, and the one we're certified on. Reveal covers 1,034 proteins with a bias toward immune, inflammatory and cardiometabolic biology, from 4 µL of sample. We offer partial plates, so a 24-sample pilot doesn't have to pay for a 96-well plate. Full plates come back within 3 weeks of sample receipt, partial plates within 4.

1,034 proteins spanning immune, inflammatory and cardiovascular pathways

Partial plates with no minimum sample count
Guaranteed turnaround: 3 weeks for a full plate, 4 weeks for a partial plate

About the turnaround
Both dates count from the day your samples arrive in Hayward and are written into the quote. If you have a hard deadline, such as a grant report or an abstract, tell us and we'll plan the run around it.
Disease-area panels
Olink Target 96
92 proteins per panel · 11 panels · 1 µL sample

Eleven curated panels of 92 proteins each, covering the major disease areas. Target 96 reports relative NPX values from 1 µL of sample, and it's the sensible choice when you already know which biology you're after and want a defined, well-characterized set of proteins rather than a discovery screen.

Olink Target 48
Up to 45 proteins · pg/mL

Target 48 is the Olink panel that gives you concentrations in pg/mL rather than relative NPX, and it does so without bridging samples, which makes it easier to compare results across studies, sites and time. Four panels are available, including a Mouse panel that also works on rat samples.

Absolute quantification in pg/mL
No bridging normalization, so multi-site and longitudinal studies are simpler to run

Olink Flex
5 to 30 proteins · your selection

Choose between 5 and 30 proteins from a validated library of about 200, and get either relative or absolute values from 1 µL. Flex is what we usually suggest for the second step of a project: take the hits from a Reveal or Explore run and measure them in several hundred more samples without paying for the whole panel again.
